In this world, we live in, during these recent turbulent years, we have utilized
and have been grateful for our healthcare system that managed to encompass
our dilemmas and foes into a minuscule! We’ve also quite understood the
importance of a flourishing healthcare system during these testing times, a
a healthcare system that stood tall through all the difficulties and enough
gratitude has been paid off for the same!
However, the unhealthy lifestyle patterns we have been accustomed to have
been brought into the limelight meanwhile and clarity has been shed on how
just our body itself is the real healthcare system we all need.
Paving the way for our body to recuperate and heal is the journey that is actually
required for us to be engaged in, and since our body is a wondrous miracle
, taking care is no easy journey.
However, the science that dates back to 5000 years ago stupendously still
proves relevant, during these times owing to its beautiful set of guidelines and
regimens we need to partake in during specific conditions such as in a specific
season, or even a day that involves a detailed regimen on diet and lifestyle.
Ayurveda is a millennia-old tradition of being one with nature that is ancient,
profound, and effective. It is based on a deep understanding of nature’s myriad
gifts to help us heal from various ailments and be at our best – physically,
mentally, and spiritually. Ayurveda is a smart reminder for us to adjust our
lifestyle and absorb the ancient wisdom of nature and its impact on man in a
world where we are losing touch with nature day by day. We think that good
health is valuable in Ayurveda and that by practicing Ayurvedic therapies and
making lifestyle adjustments, you may maintain your health throughout your
life.
The adaptation of a well-planned Dinacharya (day-to-day activities),
Rutucharya (adaptation to various seasons by strictly following the rules and
regulations that must be followed during each season and seasonal change-off
periods), Sadvritta and Sadachara (righteous things we do in our lives), and
Achara Rasayana (ethical conduct of life, activities, and diet that enhance our
body-mind immunity delays aging, and rejuvenates us) will aid in disease.
Along with this, planned management of diet, sleep, lifestyle, and celibacy,
attending to our body’s natural reflexes and urges such as hunger, sleep, thirst,
urination, defecation, sneeze, etc. as and when they occur, holding on to our
negative emotions such as anger, lust, enviousness, fear, etc., and staying away
from abnormal contacts (subjects) etc renders an individual healthy and
happy!
However, if we disobey all of these guidelines, we will develop one or more
diseases or disorders that will disrupt not just our health but also our daily
lives. In this situation, we may need to take medications and therapies in order
to recover from our ailments. For this to happen, we may need the assistance
of a well-functioning medical system.
